In 2008, Legal Aid of Manasota merged with The Family Law Connection to expand its legal services to serve families with minor children. With the expanded programs and services Legal Aid of Manasota provides eligible residents of Sarasota or Manatee counties pro bono attorneys to represent them in contested divorces where children are involved.
Please allow at least three days to be contacted regarding eligibility and to set up an appointment with one of our volunteer attorneys.
Due to the high volume of family law clients, more compelling cases, such as those involving domestic violence, may be prioritized. Victims of domestic violence should see the Domestic Violence page on this site. Some clients are best served by the Divorce Clinic.
